YIKES! I NEED A HAIRCUT!

I haven't had a haircut for over two months.  My hair is getting long enough to start curling now, especially after all the rain we've had.  I combed my hair last night before bed and looked at myself in the mirror.  I have to admit that I'm starting to look a lot like President Trump, hairwise, that is.  But never fear, we already have an appointment for haircuts. Trouble is, it's not for another two weeks!  By then, I'll resemble Cousin It.

We're supposed to have three nights in a row with temperatures below 40 degrees.  All the planting has been delayed.  I have a feeling fresh veggies are going to cost an arm and a leg this year and probably won't be up to the usual caliber we expect.  Seems like its always something.

Another happy event:  we got a new evaluation of our home for taxes.  The value increased by $5K.  I don't know what they're thinking.  Housing may be better in other areas, but this part of the state is in dire need of jobs and the economy is severely depressed.  Kids can't even gets jobs at Mickey D's because the adults have taken all of them.

There's a stupid loud-mouth bird out there tweeting happily in the dark.  Last night, a huge number of obnoxious racoons had a hissing, barking, whining battle in the evergreen shrubs outside my window.  Even nature is against me when it comes to getting any sleep.

Okay, I'm done kvetching for now.  Have a great Sunday, everyone!

I think it’s fine for anyone to work anywhere they can get a job. That’s what I’ve always done – low level grunt work. The point I was trying to make (poorly, I see) was that the jobs usually done by high school and college kids are being done by their parents because that’s all there is here. This town used to run on industry, but it has all become outdated and went under or it moved to Mexico. There used to be two large foundries and a huge auto parts factory, plus a refrigerator factory. They’re all gone now. except for a Kraft foods factory. Sorry about your hair.

I go to the same hairdresser every time, thank goodness. I always had a hard time convincing them to cut my hair short enough. It took me a while to convince the one I have now!!

well, my hair is just about to the bottom of my collar, so i’d like some soft layers now, and bangs
i want to keep the length tho

Mine is just to the bottom of my neck, but it waves and curls like crazy and I have a big cowlick so all the hair on the back of my head grows in big clockwise circle. I wonder, if I lived in South America, would it grow counter-clockwise??

LMAO…mine is naturally curly, but the long it gets, it’s just wavy & frizzy…so i have to have layers, so it will lay flat…lol

I haven’t had a haircut in over a year. Want one, just haven’t found a hairdresser that can do it right.

It probably took me a year to get my regular lady to do what I wanted. I thought it was easier to stick with one until she got it right than to keep trying new ones!
